Terms of Use

Effective August 28, 2026

These terms govern your use of ALC Casablanca Connect — the mobile app and web platform (“the service”) operated by the American Language Center Casablanca (“the center”). By signing in, you agree to them. If you are a parent using the service on behalf of your child, you accept these terms for both of you.

1. Who can use the service

The service is for the center’s community: enrolled students, their parents or guardians, and center staff. Accounts are provisioned by the center from its registration records. There is no public sign-up, and access ends when your relationship with the center ends.

2. Your account

  • Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account
  • Provide accurate contact details and keep them up to date
  • Tell the center immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account

3. Acceptable use

The service is a school communication tool. When using it, you agree not to:

  • Harass, insult, or intimidate any student, parent, or staff member
  • Share content that is unlawful, obscene, or harmful — especially given that minors use the service
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours
  • Use the service for commercial solicitation or anything unrelated to the center’s activities

4. Content and moderation

You keep ownership of the messages, photos, and voice notes you send. By sending them through the service, you allow the center to store and deliver them to their intended recipients. Conversations on the platform belong to a school environment: center administrators may review and moderate them, and may remove content that violates these terms.

5. Availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. The service is a communication channel — it does not replace official enrollment records, invoices, or certificates issued by the center.

6. Suspension and termination

The center may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, or that are no longer connected to the center. You can request deletion of your own account at any time from the app’s settings; deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the center is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service, including missed messages or notifications. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Moroccan law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Meaningful changes will be announced in the app before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Casablanca.
