Your data

Delete your account

ALC Casablanca Connect — American Language Center Casablanca

You can ask us to delete your ALC Casablanca Connect account and the personal data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — from inside the app

  1. Open ALC Casablanca Connect and sign in
  2. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm with your password and tell us briefly why you are leaving

Your account is then scheduled for deletion. You will see a banner in the app for as long as the request is pending, and you can cancel it yourself at any point before the grace period ends.

Option 2 — by email

Write to info@alccasablanca.org from the email address on your account, or visit the center’s front desk with your student card. Include your full name and your student ID so we can identify the right account. We will confirm the request before anything is deleted.

What happens next

  • 90-day grace period. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted 90 days later. During those 90 days you can cancel the request from the app and everything is restored.
  • After 90 days the following is permanently deleted: your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, password, profile photo, push notification tokens, and the messages, photos, and voice notes you sent.

What we keep, and why

A small amount of information survives deletion because the center is required to keep it, or because removing it would damage other people’s records:

  • Enrollment and academic records — your student ID, class enrollments, and results are part of the American Language Center Casablanca’s own registration archive and are retained under the center’s record-keeping obligations, independently of the app.
  • Messages other people received — a copy may remain in the recipient’s conversation, shown without your name attached, in the same way an email you sent stays in the other person’s inbox.
